各クラス１名 ベビーシッターボランティアさんを募集します。
赤ちゃんのお世話をしたことがある方で、クラスの最中にウシカさんの
３ヶ月の息子さんのオムツ交換、ミルクを作って飲ませること、あやす
こと、寝るときにあやすことの４つをお願いしますお礼にはレシピと今
回ご案内するイースターのお食事がサーブされます。ウシカさんの赤ち
ゃんが寝ている間はクラスにも参加できます とウシカさん。
ボランティアの方はクラス代金はかかりません。ボランティアの方はク
ラスの３０分前にウシカさんのご自宅におこしください。お子さん連れの
方も歓迎します。
ベビーシッターの方は９：３０−１４：００まで。

When: Tuesday, April 17, 11:00am to 1:00pm
Come and join our first mums craft morning for 2007!
The theme this time will be greeting cards. Please bring
your own materials and any materials you would like to
share and lets make original greeting cards, birthday
cards, thank you cards etc to use.
I will bring some envelopes so you can make cards that
will fit into them. Will also bring my laminator and
some coloured card but I dont have a lot so please also
bring some card.
I have stamps and some shaped punches too which I will
bring along.
Please bring some food to share so we can have lunch
together.
Non-mums are also welcome and all children are welcome
as lunaluna has a lot of toys and enterntainment for
babies and children. Invite friends if you want.
Fee is 1000yen to cover room rental.
Lunaluna is in Sangubashi (elevator friendly),
2 stops from Shinjuku on the local Odakyu line.

Kia ora (きあおら) - Hello!
I want to share some information about New Zealand food and
culture.
New Zealand cuisine comes mainly from British and Maori cultures.
Maori (マオリ) (New Zealand's indigenous people) traditionally
cooked their food in earth ovens, known in New Zealand as hangi.
A hangi (はんぎ) is a pit in which meats or fish are cooked with
vegetables. A deep hole is dug in the ground, lined with red-hot
stones and covered with vegetation. The food is then placed on top.
The whole oven is sprinkled with water and sealed with more vegetation.
The hole is then filled with earth and left to steam for several hours.
Traditionally, men dig and prepare the hole, and women prepare the food
to go in it. All members of an extended family (whanau) help out for
such a feast. The occasion is relaxed, friendly and fun,.
Traditional Maori foods include kumara (くまら) (sweet potato), wild
pork, sheep and some insects.
The majority of Pakeha (white New Zealanders) are of British descent
and
this is why a lot of New Zealand cuisine is also from Britain. Meat
and vegetables are very popular as well as traditional baked goods
such as cakes, scones, muffins and desserts.
Another important part of New Zealand's cuisine is wine. New Zealand
has 10 major wine-producing areas and New Zealand wines have now become
famous worldwide.
Recently New Zealanders have started to travel more and more so a lot
of foreign foods and ideas are returning to New Zealand with travellers.
Since we cannot get all of the same ingredients in New Zealand a lot of
recipes are adapted by using New Zealand's best vegetables and meats.
New Zealand meals are generally very relaxed and informal and family
members can enjoy talking a lot during the meal.
New Zealand has a lot of original foods too, here is a list of things
that you should try if you visit New Zealand

Hokey Pokey Ice Cream - Vanilla ice cream with crunchy toffee inside
Marmite - a yeast spread for toast or sandwiches
Roast lamb!
Lamingtons - castella sponge cake with coconut

簡単で美味しいものを作りたい人におくるマットさんのタイ料理クラス。
結婚後、海外赴任暦がとても長くマレーシア、シンガポール、オランダと
様々な国で暮らしました。 日本に住めたらいいなぁとずっと思っていた
そうで、今回日本に赴任が決まりとても嬉しかったそうです。お料理は、
以前シンガポール駐在時は１０カ国の国の人たちでサークルを作り持ち
回りでそれぞれの国のお料理を披露して楽しんだことが良い思い出です。
５月クラスは、やさしい味わいのタイ炒飯に存在感のあるジャングルカ
レーとマグロのサラダ。フルーツをふんだんに使ったフレッシュ感あふ
れるデザート等、たくさんの素材をたっぷりと使い満ち足りた気分にさ
せてくれるお料理の数々でお送りします。
